COL Eddy retired in January 2017 having served for 28 years as a US Army Reserve Chaplain (13 years on active duty).

He has served in worldwide assignments to include a one-year combat tour in Iraq (2004—05), South Korea, Guantanamo Bay Cuba and Haiti. While serving as the Command Chaplain for the 351st Civil Affairs Command (Airborne), he served on active duty from 2009 to 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). Colonel Eddy saw numerous soldiers return from combat tours severely affected with the invisible wounds of war. Colonel Eddy applied himself to understanding how to assist soldiers affected by PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), visiting soldiers at the Palo Alto VA Center. He also trained in 40 hours clinical training at the Menlo Park, CA National Center for PTSD and 40 hours at the National Intrepid Center for Excellence at Bethesda Naval Medical Center, Wash DC. He was introduced to Neurofeedback in 2007 at clinic in Templeton CA with interest in developing a collaborative relationship with soldiers. From that point on, Colonel Eddy continued to develop his awareness of the efficacy of Neurofeedback to treating a wide range of mental health pathologies. In 2007 Colonel Eddy developed a professional relationship with Dr Jonathan Olford (PsyD) related to addressing the needs of Veterans with related combat disabilities. Since then they’ve worked to establish a clinical practice using Neurofeedback to treat a wide range of mental health. He trained at the EEG Institute (Woodland Hills, CA) as a Neurofeedback Clinician-Othmer Method in Infralow High Density, Synchrony and Alpha/Theta therapy.

Jonathan M. Olford, Psy.D. is the President and Founder of Crisis & Consultation Services International. Dr. Olford is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Fresno, California. He is also the co-founder of Best Brain Possible offering Neurofeedback to returning veterans as well as those who live in Central California. Dr. Olford and his wife Catherine were missionaries with the Africa Inland Mission for 8 years prior to receiving his doctorate.

Dr. Olford expanded his role in private practice with the establishment of CCSI, an organization that has been utilized to offer training in crisis and grief counseling following the tragedy of 9/11. He made numerous trips to all of the five boroughs of New York City along with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Rapid Response Team and Samaritan’s Purse. He has followed up with trainings after disasters such as hurricanes, the shootings at Virginia Tech University, the tsunami victims of Thailand and Indonesia and to other international locations including the post-election genocide in Kenya and the earthquakes in Haiti and in Japan. Dr. Olford offers seminars which are designed to train local community in the art of recovery in the aftermath of crises, recognizing that each of us experience our own losses, crises, setbacks, brokenness and challenges on a daily basis.

Dr. Olford is Board Certified in Emergency Crisis Response and a Diplomate with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. He has specializations in severe psychopathology, post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, disaster trauma and grief, the healing of damaged marriages, Attention Deficit Disorder, psychopharmacology, Neurofeedback, and individuals involved in full time vocational ministry. Utilizing neurofeedback Best Brain Possible treats individuals on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Sleep disorders, Impulse Disorders, Seizure Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress, and a variety of other mental health issues.
